FORGED Al. ALLOY WHEEL

Forging WHEEL Development Background

OneFutech has been developing and producing the highest quality 2pcs, 3pcs forging wheels and low pressure casting wheels for nearly 30 years, and has constantly developed forging production technology from its 7000-ton press machine and accumulated manufacturing technology to the manufacture of aluminum forging high-pressure containers using state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

• Weight reduction of approximately 30% or more compared to general casting wheels
• Zero Carbon Emission
• Ensuring safety through increased durability
• High Strength Requirements Wheel for In Wheel Drive (EV only)
• Korea's only forging wheel-related patent held

Application method

Net Shape Forging

Forging Wheel Advantage

•Forging at high pressure using a 7,000 ton forging press machine
• Increased strength and stiffness compared to casting wheels
• Reducing the weight by 10-20% compared to low-pressure casting: Reducing material and processing costs by applying shape forging suitable for eco-friendly vehicles
• Improvement of the most important fuel efficiency, braking, ride and acceleration of automotive performance

Market status and industrial trends

In addition to Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, GM, and Lexus, the demand for high-end forged wheels for OEMs continues to increase due to the SUPER CAR, LUXURY, PREMIUM, and BRAND of global major carmakers. In Korea, Hyundai Motor's high-performance 'N CAR' has been imported and applied from Europe since 2019.
Germany and China have the only forging wheel supply capacity to reach the quality level of global OEMs, and Korea OneFutech Co., Ltd., which was developed in 2020, and the supply of forging wheels for OEMs is very scarce worldwide.
As of 2021, about 2% to 3% of the wheels for 10 major carmakers OEMs are using forging wheels, and are expected to increase to 25% to 30% within the next five years. Global EV sales are expected to increase more than 10 times to 3.12 million units in 2020 and 32.88 million by 2030.
EV vehicles are heavier compared to internal combustion locomotives due to the weight of battery cells, and the demand for lighter wheels continues to increase as the size of tires increases and weight increases to withstand them. OneFutech Forging Wheels are at least 15% lighter and more rigid than regular casting Wheels, which is suitable for the weight reduction needs of future eco-friendly vehicles such as EVs, playing a major role in improving EV vehicles' performance.

Develop and produce racing-only wheels that require maximum performance under extreme conditions and designate them as official wheels for major racing competitions
